Documentation lives with the code. API references are generated from the same contracts.

bun run qb doctor --directory .From a built CLI installation, use qb doctor --directory <checkout-or-application>. This inspects runtime/source compatibility and redacted configuration presence. It does not write files, read secret/key contents or load a target dotenv file. If you need checks for a deployment's configuration, securely inject its environment into the invoking process; copying an .env file alone is not evidence that Doctor used it.
bun run qb doctor --directory . --probe-url https://api.example.comOnly this option requests network access: a bounded three-second GET to /ready. Supply a bare HTTP(S) origin without credentials, path, query or fragment. Redirects are refused. A successful readiness response is not an S3, mail or push delivery certification.
The structured report includes inventory and findings with code, severity, status, message and remediation. Checks include pinned runtime/source SDK compatibility, HTTPS/exact origins in production, secret presence, unsafe public secret names, disk capacity/permission observations and S3/mail/push configuration presence.
| Exit | Meaning |
|---|---|
0 | No blocking inventory errors. Unknown/unconfigured checks may remain. |
1 | Blocking findings need remediation. |
2 | Invalid invocation, such as an unsafe probe URL. |
Owner health is reported unknown when it cannot be verified; a lock file is not assumed to prove a healthy owner. Do not interpret unknown or unconfigured findings as passed checks. Reports omit secret values and private paths.
Live storage probes, test email/push, backup-destination checks and native device configuration certification are not implemented. Doctor never sends a notification, creates an object or changes deployment configuration. These remain expanded-release requirements. Use monitoring and your provider-specific runbook for separately authorized checks.
