StudioStudio assistant
QB Flex / v0.1
Documentation lives with the code. API references are generated from the same contracts.

Open Assistant (/ai) for the selected branch. Choose an intent (explain, migration, policy or hook), write a prompt, and optionally attach sanitized error text. Submit sends that request to the assistant endpoint.
The assistant does not apply SQL, policies or hooks. A migration proposal that includes a review id links to Schema Reviews. Row values are omitted unless a later client explicitly opts in; this Studio form sends includeRows: false and no fixtures.
Vector search and isolated functions stay planned. Functions remains a planned navigation item.
The capability is configured. Proposals are generated only when the API process has all three of QB_AI_BASE_URL, QB_AI_API_KEY and QB_AI_MODEL. If the response says the assistant is unconfigured, Studio shows that notice and does not invent a proposal. Private and link-local base URLs are rejected by the API.
POST /management/v1/projects/{projectId}/branches/{branchId}/assistant accepts { intent, prompt, error?, includeRows? }.
The management client exposes assistant(projectId, branchId).propose(body) and returns { proposals, model, configured }. Model output does not grant access.
